About the project
Rum Gully Gear, a growing outdoor apparel brand based in the heart of the Lowcountry, approached Port City Media to help elevate their brand and expand their reach. While their previous brand had a solid foundation, they faced challenges in standing out within a competitive outdoor apparel market. The need for a more cohesive and modern identity was clear, and their website was not optimized to handle the increasing traffic from their social media efforts. Port City Media took on a comprehensive rebrand, revamping their logo, website, and digital strategy to better reflect Rum Gully Gear’s rugged, outdoor-focused ethos. The new design focused on clean visuals, engaging product displays, and a seamless user experience, while also making their website mobile-friendly and optimized for conversions.
As part of the project, we implemented an extensive digital marketing strategy, including paid digital ads, SEO optimization, and high-quality photo and video content. By targeting key outdoor enthusiasts through paid ads and refining their SEO strategy with high-converting keywords, we were able to increase website traffic significantly. Our team also produced compelling photo and video assets that showcased Rum Gully Gear in action, helping to boost engagement across social media platforms. This comprehensive approach resulted in a more professional and accessible online presence, as well as a measurable increase in sales and customer engagement, helping Rum Gully Gear solidify its position in the outdoor gear market.
